Alan Ginsberg to speak at New York Public Library

On Wednesday, June 28th at 6:30pm, American Studies Board of Visitors member Alan Ginsberg will discuss his book, The Salome Ensemble: Rose Pastor Stokes, Anzia Yezeirska, Sonya Levine, and Jetta Gould at the New York Public Library.

Register here for the New York Public Library Event: "The Women Behind 'Salome of the Tenements'" with author Alan Robert Ginsberg. Mr. Ginsberg will discuss his book and the women behind the classic 1920s film, play, and novel with Budd Mishkin, broadcast journalist and former host of NY1's One on 1. 

The program is free, but registration is recommended. Seating will be first come, first seated basis. The event takes place at 6:30pm on Wednesday, June 28 in the NYPL's Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, Margaret Liebman Berger Forum.
